Coca-Cola Bottling opening $12 million facility in Louisville

excerpt: Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated, the nation’s largest independent Coca-Cola bottler, plans to cut the ribbon on a new sales and distribution center in Louisville on Monday. According to a media advisory, the 305,000-square-foot facility is a $12 million investment for the North Carolina-based company.

The facility is located at 7100 Global Drive in the Jefferson Riverport International industrial park in south Louisville. U.S. Rep. John Yarmuth, Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer, Metro Council President David Tandy and some top officials from Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated are expected to speak during the event.

The building is owned by Houston-based SparrowHawk Global LLC, which is leasing it to Coca-Cola Bottling.
