Peter Wismer, Senior Vice President of Finance and Financial Reporting, joined the company in 2026. Peter was previously at Deloitte for 10 years prior to joining SparrowHawk, having started his career in the audit & assurance practice where he specialized in clients operating in the financial services industry. During his tenure with Deloitte, he advised C-suites and boards for clients ranging from publicly traded global companies with annual revenues over $5 billion to complex private equity funds (and the operating companies they invest in). Peter has spoken at conferences across the globe in six countries on technical accounting topics, including the emergence of generative AI and its impact on financial reporting. He is a Certified Public Accountant and received his BBA and MS in Accounting from Texas A&M University.
Peter is active within the Houston community, currently serving on the Advisory Board for Camp For All Foundation following his tenure as President of its Emerging Leaders organization. He also serves as President of the Alumni Board at St. Francis Episcopal School.
Outside of work, Peter enjoys the great outdoors, unconditionally supporting Houston and Texas A&M athletics, and proudly serving in the role of “Uncle Pete” to his niece and nephew.
